Creations – An Event for Artistic Expressions

During the week of Feb. 6 – 10, the School of Arts and Science at Toccoa Falls College exhibited a campus-wide art show in the student lounge at Parkerson Student Center. Much of the artwork included paintings, photography, collages, and miscellaneous creations by the students, faculty, and staff members of TFC.

Professor Curt Wanner, the Communication department head, said, “the motivation behind the show was to create a greater profile for the arts on campus. Although there is a clear musical and dramatic presence on campus we felt like we needed a venue in which other artistic expression could be presented / shared with the campus community.”

At the end of the week, one special creation from each art category was chosen by the public as this year’s favorites. These were the first prize winners.
